1. Who we are
Kutoff is published by Brownshade Studio, a sole proprietorship of Prashant Kumar, New Delhi, India ("we"). By installing the app you agree to these terms and to the privacy notice.
2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older. The app is for personal, non-commercial exam preparation.
3. What you get
The free tier includes every exam pattern, limited mocks and practice, notes and daily current affairs. The Pass subscription, sold through Google Play, unlocks unlimited full mocks for every exam, unlimited practice on every topic, and 20 AI tutor doubts a day. Nothing you pay for is gated by a future date.
4. Content and accuracy
Exam patterns follow official notifications and are versioned inside the app; the source and version are shown on every paper. Generated questions carry computed answer keys. If you believe a key is wrong, report it from the review screen; we answer within 48 hours and correct confirmed errors in the next content update. Kutoff is not affiliated with SSC, IBPS, SBI, RRB or any commission.
5. The AI tutor
Tutor answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong. Verify important facts against the official syllabus. Do not enter personal data of other people into the tutor.
6. Fair use and integrity
Do not copy, record, redistribute or resell app content, including paid mocks and notes. Do not tamper with the app, timers or scores. Mocks taken on rooted devices or with screen-capture overlays are excluded from all-India rankings. Violations end your access without refund of the current period.
7. Subscriptions
Billing, renewal and cancellation are handled by Google Play. Cancel any time from Play → Subscriptions; access continues until the end of the paid period. See the refund policy.
8. Liability
We provide the app "as is". To the extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for exam outcomes or indirect losses. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the app. Indian law applies; courts in New Delhi have jurisdiction. Contact: brownshadestudio@gmail.com.
